Since 1978

In 1978 a bunch of New Zealand surf pioneers began crafting surfboards, selling equipment & clothing in the sleepy Coromandel town of Whangamata. The dream was to create a business that would support the surfing lifestyle and a slower pace of life. 40 years later the original dream is alive and well for the Mitchell family, founding members of the community based Saltwater surf shop.
